Driving Change
Through Engagement.
My approach to organizational change has been formed by over two decades of experience in project and change management. From this, my consulting services are built on a solid foundation of empathy, curiosity, and first-hand knowledge.
I listen first and always seek understanding as I learn where I’ll add value to your team and organization.
Hello! I’m Christine Flott and I’m a human, just like you. I believe we humans are capable of so much, and I believe that helping humans navigate change does not need to be complicated. Years ago when I began as a project manager, I couldn't help but notice my fellow humans. I could see how communications affected them, when delays pressured them, and how powerful it was to celebrate with them when things went right.
What kept coming up for me was “How can we connect the importance of the end result with the humanity of the people striving to create that result?” This is where my Change Management process began to form, at the intersection of humanity and organizational change.
You bring the ingredients, I’ll help unite them with NaCl Consulting.
Over the last few decades, my empathetic heart has led the way in showing companies how to create less friction for stakeholders when it comes to organizational change. Through my process, we take it step by step together to create a strategy that is understandable and effective. Outside of consulting, I lovingly (and sometimes breathlessly!) raise two teenage sons with my husband and we prioritize family time whenever we can.
I’m creative and often have a pair of knitting needles and yarn in my hand to express that creativity. But my big life’s love is people. I bring them into my life with joy and care. Those two peeks into my life illustrate what I bring to my clients. Creativity, thoughtfulness, joy, and a dash of magic.

FAQs

Not necessarily! The goal of the project manager is to use a methodology to bring something new (product, service, process, etc.) into existence by the project’s completion.
The goal of the change manager is to prepare the people for the change related to the project’s completion. Furthermore, the change manager thinks about how to sustain the change long into the future.
As far as your project management experiences go, what sort of projects have you worked on?
I have experience in new technology implementations (software and network), technology migrations, technology upgrades, mergers and acquisitions, and process improvement projects.
What sort of research can you point to about the effectiveness of change management?
I’ve been trained in the Prosci(R) ADKAR methodology for Change Management. They have great resources on change management including this article about the relationship between change management and project effectiveness. I’ve always viewed change management as a project’s insurance. By making sure people are ready for the impact of the change, we’re planning for success.
